Method

  8. Drain the water from the soaked rice and add it to a large pot with 4 cups of water.
  9. Add salt and pepper to taste and bring the water to a boil.
  10. Cover the pot with a lid and simmer the rice for 15-20 minutes until it is fully cooked.
  11. Add the cooked chicken mixture to the pot of rice and mix well.
  12. Garnish with chopped cilantro leaves and serve hot.
